my ankle swells ,also got inflammation,and discoloration sometimes, cold feet and dry feet ..I work night shift At work I stand 7 hrs everyday single ,the swelling disappears once I'm off duty any advice please?

Hi my mothers ankles are very swollen, and she has been told it might be edema, could this be related to heart or kidney, blood test for kidneys all normal and heart blood done but haven’t received results…..is there a scan we can have done to check what is happening….pls advise
