In my experience, they’re only as sensitive as they’re accustomed to be. Mine all enjoy running outdoors even when it’s very cold out (-17 C is fine!)

Correct about the barking to an extent ! Won’t bark at someone at the door but will absolutely bark at you to give them a treat when you’ve asked for paw or something else or bark when he plays
