@leadershipmel: ere’s what I want you to know about being a successful leader. What makes you successful is learning to work through the hard stuff. Every client that comes to me is struggling with some part of success. There’s politics at work and they’re afraid of being cut out The don’t get along with a key person or department They’re not being recognized They don’t love their job and they want something else but they don’t know what They don’t think they’re good enough for their job and they’re afraid to fail I experienced all of these things in my corporate life and here’s what I want you to know - the tough parts are part of the road to success. The tough parts are where you grow as a leader. So if some of the things I mentioned are happening to you, just know NOTHING HAS GONE WRONG. All of these scenarios are totally manageable. And, working through these moments is how you become successful. People SAY they want their careers to be easier … but there IS no easy road to success And frankly - if everything was easy - you’d be coming to me telling me you’re super bored and need a change. All careers are hard AND easy. Doesn’t matter what you do for a living. My recommendation is to spend less time wishing things were easy, and more time learning to work through the hard parts. #l#leadershiptokc#corporatetokl#leadershipb#bealeaderl#leadershipskillse#executivecoachc#corporatelifes#successincorporateworklife
