I got pulled over for what he said was a “slow stop” at a stop sign. I was polite. He didn’t give me a ticket, and just said “try to drive safer”.

Often times they stop you for frivolous things so they can run your ID and make sure you don’t have a warrant.

WTF? This one is excessive. My only issue is if the guy did or didn't have a seatbelt. If he didn't have it on and the cop was correct, then no issue.
