The car pulled over near Ocean Avenue and Imbrie Place. She got out and met the driver, Samantha Abruzzo-Delmauro. As Beringer neared her, alcohol smell hit strong. Signs of impairment showed too. Samantha fumbled for her papers. She said she came from Rooney’s Oceanfront Restaurant in Long Branch. At first, she denied any drinks. Later, she owned up to one glass of wine that night.
