@vera.armishaw: We often tend to look for more complicated answers as to why we are not losing fat/weight. Hormonal imbalances, weight plateau, and my favourite: “ I eat too little, so my body stores fat”. But that’s not how our body works. If you are truly in a calorie deficit, you will be losing weight. The only way to determine if you are actually in a calorie deficit is to track your calories. You don’t have to do it forever, but calorie counting is a good education tool. It will show you how much you overeat and when. We often eat well during the week and then on the weekends we overeat/drink alcohol. If you are on a weight loss journey, you are on this journey not only during the week, but also on the weekends 🙃
