omg my mom buys these dried anchovies but a little bigger puts some magic spices in and then fries them in hot oil. she calls it nethili karuvadu fry

When I get sick of the grossness of meat I go on a week of this and a spinach banchan for the week without losing out on the protein meat provides. In fact I could eat it everyday. I’m serious it doesn’t get old. The spinach is a perfect pair to this. Meat is so gross sometimes. It makes me feel scared to eat it.
