I’ve used these concepts for decades to help shooters understand the most important aspects of safety while handling firearms. Yes, we do understand that we treat and assume every forearms is loaded. But instead of me rattling off the three, four or five firearm rules all though. They are important and I expand upon them, getting to the point of what will help them remember quickly with these two concepts have been a winner in my book. Finger Discipline and Muzzle Management are the phrases I use.. you have to break both of those rules at the same time to have a very bad day!
