Australian min wage is $21.38/hr (about $19.31CAD). There's no tipping. 3 course meal at a midrange restaurant in Sydney is about A$40pp tax icluded.

In 2001 the min wage was $8. 2023 it’ll be $16.75. That’s double. My rent has at least quadrupled since 2001.
