My fingers are crossed that the $$ goes to KU authors

The fact that now Kobo is in the US will only hurt Amazon further. And knowing that so

Devon Atwood Romance :
If the price per page doesn’t go up, I will have to pull mine! I literally make more from selling paperbacks than I do KU right now! Which is bananas

Let's test it out. Everyone go to my books on KU and read as much as you can. I'll let you know how the royalties play out! 😁

If the per page payments don't go up too, I'm going to ask my publisher to pull my books that are in there out.

I doubt the $ per page read will increase. I polled my readers and will continue to release in KU for a few months for the readers who are there.

I’m definitely not going to renew. I’m going to use Libby App which is free as it connects to your library.

Still pretty cheap for the reader in my opinion. I also disagree with KU exclusive issue.

As mentioned previously, I got out and am now wide. Also part of Kobo+ without the exclusivity. Glad to be out

I've been curious since I heard authors are paid per page, do you get paid for rereads or only the 1st time we read a book?

It’s only 2 bucks. As much as I read, it’s still a bargain

I hope the payments go up for authors. I just got ku last month and am loving it so if authors pull out I’ll be sad

Let’s see what happens to the page rate. It’s hard for me to tell if it will get better or worse as a result of this.

I think I already pay $11.99 CDN for it…authors should be paid, they are the product. 📚📚

I seriously doubt amazon will pass that increase on to authors. No way. If anything they’ll cut our rates more. (I have 12 books in KU)

Wondering if Zon is going to kill KU. They are beta testing credits programs. We need KU so....😳😳😳

I’m going to keep using KU. It’s how I read most of my books, bc I can’t afford to buy as many physical copies as I read on KU every month.

Most of my small author income comes from KU so I hope too many readers don’t unsubscribe 😔
