On the morning of Ashura, overcome with remorse, Hurr left Yazid's army and rode towards Imam Hussain (a.s.), seeking forgiveness for his role in bringing the caravan to Karbala. Imam Hussain (a.s.) welcomed him with mercy and compassion, accepting his repentance without hesitation. Hurr then joined the small group of companions defending Imam Hussain (a.s.) and fought bravely until he attained martyrdom.
