@johndelony: If you grew up in a house where things were constantly out of your control, you might find yourself obsessing over controlling every little detail of your life today. Trying to control what others think of you, what they say about you, the story of your past, the future, the traffic on your way to work, the weather, your relationships, etc. And eventually, that kind of constant pressure will wear you down. It’s exhausting and unsustainable. The truth is, there are only two things you can control, Your thoughts and your actions. That’s it. Let go of all the other stuff and breathe. Accurate...I don't remember my childhood, just "scenes"...I'm hyper self aware, I over think EVERYTHING, it's exhausting, glad I'm working on this

It’s become so much more peaceful for me to isolate than it is to worry about every variable. I’m stuck in self isolation now.

I'm always thinking of an imaginary "paper trail"/"how would this hold up to scrutiny" to monitor how I conduct myself.
