@georgepoulos: Clinging to relationships suffocates the flow of the Universe. Many connections are meant to be fleeting and transitory. When allow your ego to get in the way of the natural unfolding of a relationship by clinging to the relationship or attaching to some hyper-specific expectation for what the relationship ought to turn in to, you quite literally get in the way of the natural unfolding of that relationship. When you love yourself deeply, there is no need to get in the way of the natural unfolding of relationships. You can watch each one unfold on all its awe and beauty, and if you reach this point on your journey, you will find these relationships are far more fulfilling and deeply rooted than those we cling to. We all need to take a close look at our tendency to cling and suffocate relationships. Full talk on George Poulos Podcast #39 🦋🎙️ #relationships #Love #nonattachment

Intimate relationships require effort and will not always be easy. This sounds like avoidant attachment style - insecurities are a part of loving

i believe in clinging. we are hardwired for connection yet loneliness is an epidemic. the resistance is really to the vulnerability of connection

I would say too that as you accept a person’s choice not to be with you, you also must accept any pain or jealousy that rises up, even though it hurts

I love how you articulated this. I’ve reached a point that I’m good no matter what. Whatever is meant to happen, will. No use trying to control
