@symeoneki: The three-day hike on Mount Rinjani is a 2,700m elevation gain hike in the island of Lombok in Indonesia. It is a rather intermediate hike that many people take 2-3 days to complete. With a 3-day-itinerary you get to spent 1 night on the Basecamp in Sembagun, the west side of the crater rim and 1 night on the Senaru Crater. During sunrise you get to see the active vulcano and during your hike you will walk through mud, water, rivers and hot springs. Infamous tip: take flip flops with you. They will be a live savor when walking through rivers and the lake.
