As a mixed person I agree. Being mixed is its own experience because we are apart of multiple worlds and for some reason we live a life being told by those worlds that we are one or the other based on the tone of our skin, even though fully black people can also be lighter as well as white pple being able to tan darker easy, but at the end of the day we are rejected by both sides pushing us into our own “category” or race

I’m sorry we have privilege as biracial people since when😂😂😂😂 we get heat from both sides from whatever we’re mixed with. We don’t get a break from either side.

i’m a biracial person who was racially targeted as a child bc nobody sees me and thinks “oh she’s mixed she gets a pass”. they see me, my skin, my hair and i get treated just as poorly (though i know it is more difficult for darker skinned people) as every other black person
