Video & audio are to the point of diminishing returns. Aside from movie screens, no point in going past 4k. Also encoders are getting better (ex: AV1)

You're mostly right, but off on a couple things. Video will get smaller, AV2 & H.266 will cut bandwidth needs in half. And not going past 4k soon
