My mum was bitten but didn't need antivenom. She was sick for a few weeks after and her immune system was affected though for a year after.

Pretty sure that’s a male redback, they don’t grow as big and have a brown abdomen instead of black with the red stripe. far less venomous as well

Deadly? As an Aussie I’ve been bitten twice on the foot and the hospital told me have some Panadol and neurofen💀 they don’t do anti venom anymore
