Cairo came down with a sinus infection last week which means he weaved his tall toddler body right back into our bed. While Jerome falls asleep on the couch literally every night he always finds a way to wake up with us. But for some reason that didn’t happen last night and I wasn’t having it. On top of that he has my couch looking wrinkled and full of lent. The younger me would have had an attitude for at least a day, but with Cairo here we understand the negative impact and emotional distress arguments can cause to a child.
