@foodies.stay.fit: ✨AIR FRYER MOFONGO✨ Stop deep frying and take full advantage of your air fryer! It literally tastes the same if not better than deep frying with waaay less calories!👍🏼 You will need: -green plantains -pork grinds -adobo -garlic paste -butter -olive oil Notes: cut plantains in small circles about 1/4 inch thick. Add them to the air fryer and spray them with vegetable oil. Set your air fryer at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. At 8 min, remove plantains from AF and drench them in a bowl with water, salt and garlic paste (this will prevent them from drying out) place them back in the AF for the remaining cooking time. Once done add plantains to the pilón, add garlic paste, splash of olive oil, a sprinkle of Sazon & pork grinds. (If you don't have a pilon use a bowl and smash it with the bottom of a small bottle) Smash smash smash! Place the mixture in a smaller bowl to give it a nice shape, flip it onto a plate and add your favorite protein over top!
