DIY with Aim | Termites Room Wabi sabi inspired Seeing the condition of the room ie workmanship/finishing that are rough, I knew wabi sabi is the most ideal concept for this room. I love the fact that the room hasn’t been plastered smooth, cracks here and there with unfinished textures to the walls - for me to highlight the imperfections even more. I’ve been collecting the materials and furniture for quite some time but hadn’t had a chance to do the makeover because I needed to prioritize the living room first, and thus this room had become a store for my work tools. The breaking point of not holding it longer was I guess when I realized that there were termites infestation going on, right below the mattress - and I slept on it. No wonder I heard their sound iykyk! So I decided just days before I flew to revamp as much as I could so that I could be at ease leaving the house. It’s def not the finish touch just yet.
