My Cadillac no mater what turns the AC on automatically if i have the air on. Even in the winter when I have the heat on high. I have to manually turn it off afterwards.

mechanic here! not true. the car, upon starting, cuts power to everything but the starter until the engine is running. it won't hurt anything to keep

The computer keeps it off till the vehicle is running. Some systems with a low mount compressor need to spin while cranking however to purge oil

That’s not true, I have a 2008 Tacoma with 418,000 miles, live in Texas , always leave my AC on and has original air compressor, never had any AC issues.

not true at all. the a/c compressor is not engaged while cranking. the compressor won't engage until the vehicle is running

I live in Texas where summers are brutal. Bought a new 2013 Tundra sold it this year with 300k miles on it replaced original battery at 7 yrs no issues with alternator and always left AC on 😏

The A/C compressor is BELT DRIVEN!! Using the single 5-6 rib serpentine belt! And that ONE BELT drives all the components( P/S, Air Pump, ALT, A/C compressor and in some instances?!? The SUPER CHARGER. Explain your logic.
