@chunka.munka: I am so unbelievably proud of myself for the amount I fought for this moment. I accomplished so much in my time at Ithaca College despite my degenerative joint disease, chronic pain, and major surgeries. I was the ONLY person in my major for years, and since the Spanish Education program for undergraduates has been discontinued, I will be the last to graduate with this degree. My high school Spanish teacher always told me “If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing well.” I always stayed true to that, no matter how many tears it took.
