@casssshot: Earthbag homes are typically seen in the desert. Since we’re building on an island with no sand, we had to make a couple adjustments. One of the first things we bought was a 40 x 40 tarp that we put over our whole workspace. We ordered 60 tons of 3/8th inch red cinder instead of using the unsuitable soil at our location. We call our mixture cindercrete. We learned it from our mentor, Mark Hansen, the sandalwood man. He built a permitted dome in Hawaii 10 years ago, and he has been guiding us on our journey.
