Everyone loves to champion credit cards for the cash back and airline miles, but this is the reality of the credit card industry: a big portion of cardholders can't pay them off every month, and those "free perks" you love to brag about are coming at the expense of the people who are struggling to make ends meet. No cap. 66% of Capital One’s credit card revenue in 2022 came from late fees and interest charges! Gross. That 2% cash back is sooo generous from companies who are sucking the life out of their customers at an 20% APR. 🫶 As for me and my house, we're gonna stick to cash and debit cards only.
