@SYDNEY FOOD BOY ‘s 5 MUST TRY NOODLES IN SYDNEY CITY SAVE this list for your trip to Sydney! (1) Malay Chinese Noodle Bar (Sydney Place) Chicken Laksa $16 AUD Arguably the best laksa in Sydney, and a very popular lunch option for office workers in the city. The laksa is smooth, creamy and the sambal gives an exceptional spice kick. I recommend adding extra sambal if you like it spicy! My usual order is the chicken or chicken & prawn laksa, and they do a great har mee too. (2) Yok Yor Thai Food Factory Pad Kee Mao $16.90 AUD This place does incredible pad Thai and pad see ew, but my favourite order is the pad kee mao (stir fry drunken noodles) where the flavour comes from chilli, basil and garlic! Their fried noodles have great wok hei / smokiness. (3) Happy Chef Noodle Restaurant (Sussex Centre) Dry Spicy Beef, Tripe and Wonton Noodles $18 AUD Order the # 37, the tender pieces of beef break apart in your mouth and the tripe has an amazing bouncy texture, but the best part of this dish is the gravy sauce they put in. I order the flat egg noodles, and the way the noodles catch up all of that sauce oh BABYYYYY! (4) Gumshara Mini Sparerib & BBQ Pork Ramen $24 AUD The thickest tonkotsu ramen broth in Sydney with intense pork flavour in every spoonful. It's an amazing ramen and definitely on par with what you'll find in Japan. Don't skimp on the pork spare rib topping! You can thin down the soup if you don't like it too thick. (5) Mr Chen Beef Noodle (Prince Centre) Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup $14.80 AUD The noodles here are hand-pulled to whatever thickness you want and then served in a beef soup that looks clear, but is unassumingly rich and aromatic. Make sure you add the chilli oil! The Asian food in Sydney is forever top tier and the variety of noodles we covered today are a great example of this! In one day we ate noodles Malaysian, Thai, Chinese Cambodian, Japanese and Chinese style. Noodles are a great affordable lunch or dinner option so save this list for when you visit Sydney! #sydney #sydneyfood #sydneyeats
