I’ve had to do this too. We downsized, with plans to upgrade again. Our bed was 2 box springs with 2 mattresses for a year. Oh, the memories 😁

An easy hack for bottom sheets is to find the corner seam with the tag. Then that corner goes to either the top left or bottom right of the mattress.
