Delicious Chocolate Crescents Recipe 😍🤍 Soft, fluffy yeast dough meets melty chocolate drops – perfect for a cozy breakfast or a sweet afternoon treat. 🥰 📝 Ingredients for the dough (yields about 10 rolls): • 250 g all-purpose flour (2 cups) • 1 tsp active dry yeast (about 3 g) • 100 ml lukewarm milk (scant ½ cup) • 1 medium egg • 50 g sugar (¼ cup) • 30 g soft butter (2 tbsp) • 1 pinch of salt • 1 tsp vanilla extract • about 80 g chocolate chips (scant ½ cup) For brushing: • a little cream or milk • powdered sugar for dusting 🤍 Instructions: 1.	Sift the flour into a bowl and make a well in the center. Add 1 tsp sugar and the yeast into the well, pour in a bit of the milk, and let it sit for 10 minutes until foamy. 2.	Add the remaining milk, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and salt. Knead everything into a smooth dough (about 10 minutes by hand or mixer). Gradually knead in the butter until the dough is soft and pulls away from the bowl. 3.	Gently mix in the chocolate chips on medium speed, just until evenly distributed – don’t overmix to avoid melting. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 60–75 minutes until doubled in size. 4.	Divide the dough into 10 equal pieces. Roll each into a soft triangle. Starting from the middle to the tip, cut 6 small slits – leave the wide end uncut. Roll up from the wide end to form crescents. 5.	Place the crescents on a baking tray, cover, and let rest for another 20–30 minutes. 6.	Brush with cream or milk and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C top/bottom heat (or 160 °C fan) for 15–18 minutes, until golden brown. 7.	Remove from the oven, cover with a clean towel and let cool. Dust with powdered sugar before serving. Fluffy, chocolatey, and full of aroma – these crescents are best enjoyed freshly baked. 🤍
