I would imagine a scenario where you're capable of FTL travel, they've got the math down tight enough to not hit stars.

not hitting anything is wrong. I suspect you'd be hitting all sorts of particles that would exert a catastrophic force on impact.

It's not the stars you gotta watch out for, it's the pebbles and small rocks. Traveling at that speed hitting a small object will obliterate you.

I don’t think they’re actually moving though. They’re warping space. So they can’t “hit” anything.
