A Faraday cage blocks external electric fields and, depending on the design, can attenuate some radio-frequency electromagnetic waves. It does not block gravity, Earth's magnetic field, your own brain's electrical activity, or "negative energy." There's also no credible scientific evidence that everyday Wi-Fi or mobile phone signals impair meditation or that sitting inside a Faraday cage provides any mental or physical benefit beyond what you'd get from sitting quietly in an ordinary room. If meditating in a metal box helps, it's far more likely because it's quiet, dark, and free of distractions—not because it's shielding you from mysterious rays.
