I had them when I first became a plant mom. I covered my soil with sand then placed white rocks on top. I also bottom water. (1/2)

Bits were a fail for me!! Neem got them all within a month!! And now every new plant gets treated with neem!! Haven’t had a bug since 🤞

I have a better way. A layer of horticultural sand on top of the soil. Adults don't dig into it and babies don't climb out of it. And s Katchy.

I've only gotten them from newly purchased soil. now I dump the bags in a tote, and pour boiling water in it. no gnats.

my fungus gnats rlly dont give a f about dry soil. im very strict on watering and even use a moist meter and they dont care 😂 gonna try those

Got a new plant and it was infested. Did the yellow sticky, but did a 1:3 solution of hydrogen peroxide. Worked!
