@inspiredbyprisfood: First Time Cooking 🧑🏻🍳 Duck.. Growing up in an Indian home duck was prepared in a curry. As I grew older and my palate matured I discovered peking duck and crispy fried duck whenever we dined at asian restaurants. I have been wanting to try this out for a while now. To be honest I really did not know what to expect or how to even go about making this protein. I felt like I was on chopped with a mystery basket. I know that duck pairs well with cranberries, orange and red wine. So having oranges on hand I decided to wing it and this is how our dinner turned out!! How To Prepare Duck Breasts - Season with salt and pepper - To a heated pan, add the duck breasts skin side down - Cook on to your liking - Remove & allow to rest - Slice & Serve For the sauce: Add the juice of one orange. Add aa teaspoon of honey and soy sauce, add a cinnamon stick and half a star aniseed and 1 teaspoon of butter. Bring to a simmer until thick and serve. Final take… Definitely buying these duck breasts again, they were surprisingly easy to prepare and tasted great 👍🏽 #howtocook #duckbreasts #duck #levelupafrica
