@naturesfury_updates: I made a video on my other account documenting my trip to the southern plains in march, however i feel i should just make a video here as well. I made a short video right after i got back but i felt like that really didnt explain everything. First i was there to storm chase, storms did not really fire until the last day i was there so, we were out of luck. We decided to visit some towns that had recently been struck by tornadoes within the past year. Norman and Cheyenne, Oklahoma were only a month removed from their EF2 tornadoes. Those pictures are towards the beginning of the video. We also visited andover about 11 months removed from the EF3 tornado that hit town in kansas. Only real pictures of damage still there were near the city hall. The YMCA was being worked on across the street. Overall it was a really great experience, not in terms of the damage obviously, but the plains are truly beautiful and every community seems extremely close and everyone knows one another. Also the food was extraordinary just wanted to throw that in. We were in okc most of the time so we also decided to drive over to el reno, the pictures of the open plains and road towards the end were el reno ans the road where the el reno tornado in 2013 crossed and unfortunately killed 3 well known storm chasers. I did not find the memorial unfortunately i was alerted that there was one later on but i was already gone. the last clip was just something that made me smile and made me realize how great it is to be out in nature. hopefully I will get to be back out there next year towards april or may. all these photos and videos i took personally #tornado #weather #damage #oklahoma #kansas #trip #plains #fyp
