I’ve gotten better at formative assessment along the way. Quick exit slips mid unit, google forms etc as it marks for you!

I teach VET subject for yr 11 and 12s. over 200 assessments to mark and some outstanding.. it won't get marked between 9-3.30 😳

We just use essential assessment mostly. Marks it for you. Then just a writing moderation task. Have a look in their books. Done.

When unit planning always, always plan catch up lessons because inevitably you will need them later on. Don't wait till they are super behind either.
