@iluvmestizass: A black hole is most certainly not a hole in space-time. Black holes are essentially extreme warpings of space-time. When I say this, I am referring to General Relativity, which is the theory that Einstein created the gravity is not an attractive force between two masses, but a warping of space-time. It is known that all masses, specifically in this sense planetary bodies, stars, asteroids, etc., have a certain escape velocity that is needed to in a sense “overpower” the gravitational force that is being caused by the mass. Black holes are basically this, but they are so massive, that their escape velocity is faster than the speed of light. #Cosmos #TRAVELABOUTHECOSMOS #universe #blackhole #Spacetime
