If you turn the shaft the wrong direction when installing the impeller, the Rubber fins will be bent in the wrong way so that water isnt pumpin enough

just pop the 2 Bolts off the thermostat housing and see if she's plugged

it might be the locking pin for the impeller, it's supposed to be a small brass pin to lock it 👍
