I use tomato cages for mine. Snip the tight lower ring off with wire snips. Sturdier and cheaper!

But, way less blooms per bush, way fewer attractive varieties, & the blooms don’t last as long. Staking is worth the beauty of a Mrs FDR! 😊

My peony just hasn’t grown over about 4 yrs. It hasn’t spread out & only gets 3 blooms. Gets lots of sun in the afternoon. Idk what’s wrong?

I read somewhere to put a tomato cage over your peonies in early spring. I did it this year and my peonies are upright. 😁
