@thesidingguy_: What I’ve found over the years is tips and tricks can often be interchanged between different trades. This is a trick that I’ve been using for years and have even shown it in a video before. I most often use this trick in the winter when the siding boxes are full of frost and the siding slides like crazy on the box making it difficult to scribe without a stop. A nail is the perfect solution and you don’t even need a hammer. I hope this tip helps someone out there. And thank you Joe for your voice again 😂 and for letting me hobble like you.
