Storytime 📚 We never expected to have a community on social media, but now that we do, our priority has always been to use it for good. So about a year ago, Katie and I began researching nonprofits we could bring into our Mission to Spread Smiles. Enter @Warrior Canine Connection. They train service dogs for veterans using a Mission Based Trauma Recovery model. I love this model because every dog helps dozens of veterans during the ~2-year training process before being paired with their veteran as a service dog. On a recent visit to WCC, I noticed they use bully sticks for positive association training but didn’t have Bow Wow Buddies to help prevent choking and intestinal blockage. So I reached out to our friends at @bowwowlabs We love Bow Wow Labs and often post about their products because they have the potential to save lives.
