@plantswithkrystal: This lipstick plant sure is a looker! Any trailing plants or long luscious ones, I leave the top layer of the soil alone and remove the rest if I’m replacing soil. In the case, when I checked it, the roots were still very shallow/small and potting up (going up a size) would not be very beneficial. So I removed some of the old soil and put in some new one. Repotting doesn’t always means you’re going up in size, it may just mean that your plant needs to be refreshed. When your confused about what to do, check those roots.
