@turkish.defence_: Operation Olive Branch is the first of the 3 largest Operations carried out on January 20, 2018, in order to prevent the spread of the southern provinces of Turkey, especially Kilis, from the Syrian civil war to our lands. A large army consisting of a total of 20,000 soldiers, 72 warplanes, many tanks, armored vehicles, rocket launchers and unmanned aerial vehicles entered Syria, took Afrin City under control and repelled terrorist organizations. While 56 of our soldiers were martyred in this operation, 230 of our soldiers were wounded.
