As always, we clipped the stems at a 45 degree angle and snipped off any extra leaves at the bottom. Then, we tried 1) putting a penny in our vase and 2) adding an ice cube in our vase. Turns out, the tricks didnt really make our flowers last any longer compared to our control group.
