@iamchrxstopher: DAY 4 of #30DaysOfPride🏳️‍🌈 | today's post is a special one for me because even though i haven't really openly identified with any label, gender-fluidity is the one that i continuously find myself aligning with the most. something about the idea of "fluidity" and knowing there's a label for the feeling of wanting to identify with different gender expressions at different times is extremely comforting to me, as that's how i've felt for most of my life. at times i enjoy being more masculine presenting and wearing baggy t-shirts & baseball hats, sometimes i wanna be in full glam and wear heels & wigs, and other times i feel a mix of both and will be in full glam with a baggy shirt & shorts 🤣 i love the idea of being able to identify as whatever i'm feeling at any given time, and identifying as gender-fluid gives me the safe space & sense of belonging to do so. FRIENDLY REMINDER: THERE CAN BE MORE THAN 2 GENDERS BECAUSE GENDER IS A SOCIAL CONSTRUCT!!! if you're struggling to understand, think of gender as a 24-hour day... the majority of the time we use "day & night", but there are other words that equate to different times of day: "morning", "evening", "sunrise", "sunset", "dusk", "dawn", "midnight", "noon", "afternoon", etc... remember, just because someone may not identify as "day" or "night" doesn't mean their time of day isn't valid or real. 🫶🏻 happy 4th day of pride to all my fellow gender-fluid angels out there!!!! 🏳️‍🌈 #Pride #pridemonth #lgbtq #queer #gay #gender #genderfluid #beauty #makeup #lgbtqia @Jinkx Monsoon
