this is why I remove the intake on all LS/vortec based engines . when I do a oil sensor. plus it's like 10 mins to pull the intake .

That's part of it, need to make sure it has the oil deflector on the oil pressure relief valve.

Use GM ring cleaner, replace left rocker cover with updated part. Also AFM valve cover in pan. Main cause of oil consumption on LS
