@clara_batten_: This, yes, is a bit of satire. A bit of humour taking the piss out of what I thought was a pretty weird statement today. If Holly had purely talked about herself and what she thought, it would have come across way less disingenuous. But to include us all in how 'we must be feeling' about a guy on TV having an affair with an adult which happens all the time (in the public eye and with people much younger than themselves), seems a tad gaslightlerish. I'm normally fan of hers. she's a god mother and her opinions in interviews seem valid and relevant. And while I won't go on a witch hunt of Holly as many have done, I don't agree with how she is dealing with this. Morally, Phillip is of course wrong but until we find that 'grooming' (an illegal offence) actually took place and it wasn't 2 consensual adults having an affair, I find this a very difficult watch.
