Thanks. I had to send one off w/out it. i didnt add silicon or a gasket and not knowing what it does buggged me. t case will come out again next week

had a Lincoln do that. Sister shop sent it to me for a t case. when separated I got a ton of rust and a shaft with no splines

2008 and 2009 had this problem, fixed in 2010 cts. your channel helped me fix the issue and tear my 6L50 with the input output shafts.
