@popsicleblog: 🛟 RESCUE JR. is now open at SeaWorld!!🦈 Last week we had the opportunity to check out the new Rescue Jr. area at @SeaWorld San Diego! Here you can have fun learning about animals and how you can help with conservation every day! Plus there are rides, a splash pad and lots of playground features. 🐬 We were also happy that our friend @Freedababy came and joined us, and helped Dani be brave at meeting all the friendly sea and land animals that were out on display. I think we enjoyed this part the most! 🦭 Dani especially loved the story times and learning about the adventures from the animal experts in helping rescue the sea life. 🐠 Here are some of the features of the new Rescue Jr. area: • Animal Meet & Greets, where you can meet an animal conservation ambassador and hear stories about different rescued animals. • Opportunities to meet members of the SeaWorld rescue team, who dedicate their lives to rescuing and rehabilitating local marine life, and hear stories from them about their rescue efforts. • Get a special view from the top of the newly refurbished Rescue Boat in the center of the new Rescue Bay Splash Zone. • Play in the refreshed splash pad, made up of playful fountains that mimic the occasional wake that is created in a busy harbor. • Explore the Mini Rescuer Training Zone, an all-new play area full of ocean themed play structures • Get a close-up look at real rescue vehicles like a pickup truck and a dinghy boat. • Enjoy live musical performance by the SeaWorld costume characters and dancers. • Ride and test your rescue skills on three fun family rides! We seriously love the efforts SeaWorld has put forth in protecting and rescuing animals. This area is very educational and fun too! We definitely want to go back. Especially to play with the tortoise 🐢 again, and hopefully hear another amazing story. Thanks SeaWorld for inviting to check it all out!
