@jeffhyer: Perhaps the most beloved animal in all of Costa Rica is the SLOTH. In today’s Costa Rica segment I’m going to share some fun facts about sloths. Here’s some bonus facts to complement the ones mentioned in this video: -sloths come down from trees to 💩 -they support a whole ecosystem of life in their coarse hair. Some insects found in sloth hair are found nowhere else. -they’re pretty much blind. They lack cone cells in their eyes which means they’re completely colorblind. They see best when the light is dim, if it’s too dark or too bright, they can’t see anything at all. -they spend 90% of their time hanging upside down Curious to know more about these animals?
