My Dr's told everything the opposite of what you just said, I even asked him if my pills are harmful he said not they are safe to take!

I've been on and off ppi's since I was little and two years I developed iron deficiency anemia! It was so bad I had to get infusions 😅

A lot of people may also have a hiatal hernia, which are known for causing gas, bloating, acid reflux symptoms, etc. endoscopy can find one.
