TASTE OF THE NORTH with Chef Amors ( DAMBUN SHINKAFA ) episode 10. So i made this for my cousin that has been away for a while and she totally loved it . In fact I will be making it again for her within next week InshaAllah. I recorded this video due to numerous requests I got so here it is finally . I don’t have a normal standard steamer so I improvised which is by the way how I normally steam my food . Ingredients. Rice grits ( coarsly crushed rice ) (tsakin Shinkafa) Morninga leaves (Zogala) Crushed peanuts (Gyada) Salt and seasoning ( gishiri da dandano) Vegetable oil (mangyada) Pepper mix (jajjaje) Chopped onions (Albasa) How to Wash rice grit till water turns clear, steam till it’s 50% cooked then add the other ingredients and Steam again until fully cooked . You can enjoy this the traditional way with just fried vegetable oil and yaji or pair it with anything you like . This food is super healthy and nutritious as it contain almost all the classes of food ( carb, leafy green, fats&oil, protein and minerals) P.S THE TRADITIONAL DAMBUN DO NOT REQUIRE CURRY AND THYME OR ANY OTHER SPICES 😅😩 If you will like the recipe for the chicken , let me know.
