I wouldn’t 100% believe this. You still need money for the inspection, appraisal & earnest money. Not many quality for downpayment assistance also.

I bought my 3 bed 1 bath house on a USDA loan, got my closing costs paid, they left the appliances, and my payment is a little over $600 a month 😅

I can’t afford a down payment, I’ve saved 5,000 but they want 10,000 cuz it’s 3.5% of the house and for some reason can’t get usda loan. Ugh

Yeah but even with FHA, houses are so expensive that the mortgage could easily be $3,000 or more which I can’t afford on my own.

USDA loans only work if you don’t live within city limits, to further the development of a rural area. I wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t have 🚘

This is true, buy a house instead on rent. I'm real estate agent in Arkansas and I always help my buyers by asking closing cost be paying by seller.
